William Freeman’s vision is rooted in a lifetime of service—to his country, his community, and the people of DeKalb County. After more than 30 years in the United States Army and decades of local involvement, he believes leadership should be defined by responsibility, integrity, and action.
William Freeman is a lifelong DeKalb County resident and a proven leader with a lifetime of service.
After graduating from Druid Hills High School and earning a degree from Georgia State University, William built a career in business and property management—spending decades working directly with families and communities across the region.
He then dedicated 30 years to serving this country in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But his service didn’t stop there.
William has continued serving his community right here at home—as a poll official, precinct captain, and active member of the Tucker and Stone Mountain communities.
He understands the challenges families face because he’s lived and worked alongside them for decades.
Now, he’s stepping up once again—this time to bring accountable, service-driven leadership to Georgia House District 88.

We need a tax system that is fair, transparent, and works for everyone. I will support responsible tax reform that eases the burden on working families, encourages economic growth, and ensures accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent.

Every citizen deserves fair and equal access to the ballot. I am committed to protecting voting rights, ensuring election integrity, and making it easier for every eligible voter to participate in our democracy.

Every student deserves a safe and supportive learning environment. I will advance school safety reforms and strengthen anti-bullying programs to ensure every child can learn and thrive.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. I will support expanded access to mental health resources and services to ensure individuals and families can get the help they need to live healthy, productive lives.

Help us bring real leadership to District 88.
